Neal Jordan returns to the terror genre with a story about vampires.

Byzantium marks the return of the famed director of films like Interview with the Vampire and Michael Collins to the genre of supernatural horror. Neal Jordan offers a dark and compelling story about two vampires, tired of their life in the dark.

They are Clara (Gemma Arterton), a seductive and dangerous femme fatale, and her shy and young daughter Eleanor (Saorise Ronan). Or at least that's the relationship they offer when they buy the old hotel Byzantium, an old building next to the bank in a coastal town in Middle America. But they're really seeking for it to become a luxury brothel, where they can spend rest of their immortal lives.

But their arrival in the town of Byzantium not only revolutionizes the small town, but they themselves will be involved in the affairs of mortals, when they meet two men (Sam Riley and Caleb Landry Jones), who will change the way these two immortal vampires see things, threatening to reveal a terrible secret that they've hidden for over 200 years.
